Research
My research focuses on exploring how different environments, ecologies and life histories impact bone shape, as well as the interaction between bone structures and function in both extant and extinct vertebrate animals. Through this investigation, I aim to enhance our comprehension of morphological evolution across space and time.
The methods:
I use specimens from collections preserved in museums.

To quantify the shape of a structure I use linear measurement and 3D geometric morphometrics.

To quantify movements of biological tissues I use 3D kinematic and modeling.
